Quality testing Engineer - Finance

As a Junior Quality Engineer, you will work closely with the development and client teams, assisting in testing activities. You will also help with planning and participate in sprint sessions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Basic understanding of software testing, ideally with some exposure to the finance domain.
• Familiarity with web applications; experience with Angular or .NET is a plus.
• Assist in preparing QA scripts for backlog items with guidance from senior team members.
• Execute QA scripts during development stages, supporting code promotion activities under supervision.
• Participate in backlog planning and contribute to story point estimation as needed.
• Communicate effectively with developers and business analysts on technical matters with support.
• Support defect retesting and collaborate with the development team to resolve issues.
• Experience or familiarity with Azure ADO or other testing management tools is a plus.
• Assist in reporting by supporting the creation and distribution of daily status updates for stakeholders.
