The Salesforce Practice is one of the fastest growing areas within Capgemini UK and focuses on helping our clients achieve business value through the use of, the world’s number one cloud based CRM (Customer Relationship Management) solution. Salesforce alongside our other digital solution offerings forms an integral part of the Digital Customer Experience division in Capgemini.

Your role


As a Salesforce Technical Consultant, you’ll be working across a wide spectrum of industry sectors, from Consumer Products, Retail, Automotive, Telco, Retail, Public Sector and Life Sciences. You’ll be working with our clients to transform their business using the platform supported by the one of the largest eco system of Salesforce apps. You’ll experience variety, one day you could be working with the client to understand their technical requirements, the next day you may start building a proof of concept with a development team moving onto developing the final solution that may be used by thousands of end users. Depending on your level of experience, we have a role for you, we can support your growth through a Salesforce certification plan and provide mentorship to enable you to Get the Future You Want.


The Work-


You’ll be working very closely with our range of Salesforce Functional consultants, Technical Architects and Solution Architects to understand and translate client requirements to designing and developing the quality solutions in Salesforce
Our technical consultants also spend time face-to-face with our clients in-line with our post pandemic hybrid working approach, collaborating with them on their technical journey


  • You’ll be in your element when it comes to being hands-on to configure or develop Salesforce solutions 
  • You’ll be confident building relationships and solutions as part of an agile team using declarative tools, backed by Salesforce Lightning and Apex
  • You’ll be using Salesforce apps from the extensive eco system to quickly plug in new functionality for our clients such as digital signature capture or artificial intelligence
  • You’ll be comfortable with change to support continuous improvement, sharing knowledge and supporting best practices

Your profile


You have a passion for Salesforce and its Ohana, you want to make a difference by helping our clients progress on their digital transformation journey, and you love exploring new ideas. Its qualities like these that will help you become the person clients turn to when they need expertise to realise their ambitions in an everchanging landscape.


  • Salesforce technical experience covering one or more of the main clouds, for example Sales, Service, Experience, Health etc.
  • Experience of project work with Salesforce platform, preferably with technologies such as Lightning Web Components.
  • Experience with working on medium to large complex end user or client projects.
  • Certified to Salesforce Administrator (ADM201), Platform Developer (PD1) with a desire to grow their Salesforce technical capability (e.g. JavaScript Developer) by achieving Salesforce Certifications and Trailhead Super   badges. 
  • Senior grades would have further experience and certifications to show their journey within the Salesforce Customer 360.
  • Experience of agile project delivery and working as part of a Scrum/KanBan team
  • Proven experience taking highly conceptual business needs and/or user stories and translate these into a solution that can be effectively configured, developed and tested
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate complex ideas, issues, concepts and solutions to clients and executive project stakeholders
  • Strong or developing technical skills in JavaScript, APEX, 
  • Understanding of E2E technical architectures, integration patterns and security, ideally on Salesforce platform
  • Experience working with 3rd party delivery partners and AppExchange vendors is a plus e.g. Odaseva, Mulesoft, Cloudsense, etc.
  • Experience in solution migration following a delivery pipeline using tools such as Gitflow, Copado or Bitbucket etc
