Workday Go to Market Lead (Any UK base)

An overview of the role

As the Go to Market Lead, you will be responsible for developing Capgemini’s presence in the market, sales pipeline, and our relationship with Workday in support of our Workday Practice growth aspirations. Working alongside the Capability Lead you will work closely with Workday Account Executives and Alliance Directors to develop, qualify, and follow up leads for Capgemini to build pipeline and sell Workday business for Capgemini.

The Work

The role will require close working with Workday Account Executives and Alliance Directors to build Capgemini’s presence with Workday, developing a pipeline of upcoming projects, and ensuring Capgemini are proactively qualifying and pursuing these. You will understand and stay up-to-date on the market and competitive landscape to ensure Capgemini offerings meet the market needs and ensure that we are competitive. You will work to ensure that Capgemini are abreast of the latest opportunities and building a good pipeline of work. Internally, you’ll be working with Capgemini Account Executives and other key stakeholders across Capgemini’s portfolio of services, to review opportunities and work out plans to follow these through with Capgemini bid teams to deliver successful bids. You’ll work to grow the Workday sales pipeline and sell the full Capgemini portfolio of services from Implementations, Support Work, Transformation services, Evaluation and Pre-Project services and Training.

Capgemini’s Workday Practice is growing with more than 200 consultants globally and you’ll be an important part of the Go to Market approach and management team.

•    You will have experience in a similar role in Workday for a leading partner/SI:
•    You have delivered, or been instrumental in, at least £3 million of sales over the last 2 years, preferably in platform as well as standalone HCM deals
•    You have an excellent network in Workday and in the Workday market
•    You have good contacts in business and a wide network to drive the pipeline
•    A strong collaborative approach to communication and relationship building internally, with Workday and all levels of client management
•    Good Knowledge of Workday, it’s component parts and the process need that it addresses
•    Knowledge of the Workday Roadmap and competitors in the market. 
•    Views on how the market will evolve, and a desire to help clients make decisions that define the strategic direction of the business. 
•    A strong “can-do” attitude and willingness to share knowledge with and learn from their peers.
•    Experience of working in an on-shore, near-shore, off-shore model and how that relates to Capgemini’s offering and competitive approach.
