Job Title: Business Analyst

Location: London (Hybrid)

 

Capgemini are rapidly growing as the demand for our services within the Insurance sector has proven to be very successful in 2023. So, we are now expanding our teams and are currently seeking a top performing Business Analyst specializing in the Claims process within the insurance domain.

As an IT Business Analyst specializing in Claims, your primary goal is to bridge the gap between business needs and technological solutions within the insurance domain. Your role is crucial in ensuring that technology aligns with business objectives, optimizes operations, and delivers value to the organization

Requirements

Insurance Domain Knowledge:

  • Solid understanding of insurance business processes, particularly in Claims management.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices in claims processing.

Business Analysis Tools and Techniques:

  • Proficiency in using business analysis tools like process mapping, requirements gathering, and data modeling.
  • Experience in stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement elicitation sessions.

IT Systems and Technologies:

  • Knowledge of IT systems used in insurance claims processing (e.g., claims management software, document management systems, CRM tools).
  • Understanding of database concepts, SQL querying, and data integration techniques.

Responsibilities

Requirement Gathering and Analysis:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document requirements for the Claims process.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes, identifying areas for improvement and automation.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for IT development teams.

Solution Design and Evaluation:

  • Work closely with architects and developers to design IT solutions meeting business needs and industry standards.
  • Evaluate proposed solutions considering scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Provide recommendations for technology investments and process improvements.

Project Management and Coordination:

  • Lead or participate in project teams implementing IT solutions for Claims process enhancements.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and timelines aligning with business priorities.
