About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to join our team and lead the charge in our critical card legacy platform migration project. You will be responsible for defining and owning end-to-end business solutions that ensure a secure and efficient transition to the new platform, while maximizing the benefits for our customers and the organization.Location: Manchester

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand the impact of migrating from the legacy card platform on various business processes and customer experiences.
  • Deep dive into regulatory changes and new product requirements specific to the card industry, ensuring the new platform accommodates these future needs.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements that drive the successful migration of card data and functionalities to the new platform.
  • Employ strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify potential roadblocks and develop innovative solutions for a seamless card platform migration.
  • Champion effective stakeholder management, fostering open communication and collaboration throughout the entire card legacy platform migration lifecycle.
  • Ensure all governance, risk management, controls, and compliance requirements are meticulously considered during the development and implementation phases of the card platform migration.

Essential Skills

  • Proven track record of success in business analysis with a focus on complex projects, particularly within the financial services industry.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, adept at building trust and navigating diverse perspectives in a project migration environment.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to dissect complex problems and propose creative solutions specific to card platform migrations.
  • Solid understanding of technology concepts and their application within the financial services industry, with a focus on payment processing systems.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, effectively conveying complex information about card platform migration to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working within Agile and Lean methodologies, particularly in a project migration context.
  • In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry, specifically regarding payments and credit card products.
  • Possession of industry-recognized Business Analyst qualifications or certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Lean and Agile frameworks, as well as various business analysis tools and techniques relevant to card platform migration projects.
