Job Description

  • Pre-closing: alignment of business and IT challenges, scoping of Day-1 & Day-100 projects, identification of synergies, definition of an application and infrastructure convergence and drawing up operational transition models.
  • Carve-out strategy, design and migration plan for the application base and infrastructure.
  • Technology due diligence in the context of an acquisition.
  • Taking care of a complete IT design: applications, infrastructure, operational model, IT sourcing, TSA, etc.
  • Setting up and driving Integration Management office/ Separation Management office.
  • Location(Onsite): Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Gurgaon.

Primary Skills

  • MBA from tier 1 institute.
  • At least 3 years of consulting experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, Divestitures/ Carve-outs/ Separations, Corporate Strategy/Restructuring.
  • IT, financial or business experience towards M&A issues: due diligence, preparation for Day-1, carve-out, PMI, IT strategy, digital platforms, architectures, etc.
  • A strategic mindset to shape innovative strategies and to solve complex business problems.
  • Experience in working in projects with ‘C level’ executives as the primary stakeholders.
  • Ability to drive actionable outcomes for clients with latest industry trends, key metrics and value drivers.

Secondary Skills

  • Mastery of basic skills of advising: accuracy, analytical skills, strong oral and written communication skills, drive, and autonomy.
  • Good to have understanding and experienced in one or more of other consulting domains – IT cost Optimization, FinOps, Business case, Target Operating Model, Cloud strategy, ERP systems, etc.
