Job Description

• Job Purpose Support SQL migration security and other project activity
• Key Accountabilities Develop processes for optimizing database security
• Set and maintain database standards Manage database access
• Performance tuning of database systems Install upgrade and manage database applications
• Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors
• Must have knowledge on Always on setup and troubleshooting skills
• Recommend and implement emerging database technologies
• Create and manage database reports visualizations and dashboards
• Create automation for repeating database tasks Be available for oncall support as needed
• Strong command of SQL and SQL server tools
• Experience in monitoring SQL Server logs to ensure the backup operations batch commands or other scripts and processes have completed successfully
• Expert in using tools like Bulk Copy BCP Data Transformation Services DTS in SSIS
• Experience in configuring and managing Linked Servers data transfer between SQL Server and other heterogeneous relational databases
• Experience in Supporting Large Databases
• Troubleshooting and documenting root cause analysis
• Experience in MS SQL Server performance tuning along with SQL Profiler clientserver connectivity query optimization Database Maintenance plans Database Consistency Checker using DBCC
• Experience in installing Service Packs patches and hotfix for SQL Server and OS Keep update with new feature service pack version technology etc for SQL Database and Management Advanced knowledge of database security backup and recovery and performance monitoring standards
• Understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling PowerShell and TSQL scripting skills Familiarity with SSAS SSIS SSRS Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with cloud services AWS Microsoft Azure Skills And Experience
• Experience SQL installation and configuration
• Good knowledge on SQL work flow and basic architecture Good hold on Backup and recovery
• Knowledge on system databases Knowledge on user management and server roles
• Proven experience on temp db issues
• Proven experience on handling database space and disk space issues
• Must have knowledge on blockings and deadlocks Knowledge on HADR concepts
