Job Description

Knowledge and practical experience of IBM Storage and EMC NAS ISILON technologies and Storage domain V7000 block Unified V7000 Flash series HP Nimble and XIV Storage
Good knowledge on Brocade SAN Switches FCIP Routers Storage insight and
Knowledge on migration and replications Willing to work in 24 X 7 shift
Knowledge on Disaster recovery set up
Provide performance tuning and trouble shooting of all IBM storage technologies
Propose design flaws as appropriate recommend and implement best practices
Deliver project activities and to drive improvement areas like SIP s CIP s performance automation build client relationship
Identifying customer requirements into presentable form OS skill from storage view on AIX VMware Windows is required
Storage System administration functionality and exploitation
Assessments and Health Checks installation cabling troubleshooting
Good working knowledge Fabric Switches Brocade

Effective communication skills in both verbal and written English
Client focused with regards to service delivery Self driven and able to work independently or within a team
Good analytical and troubleshooting skills the ability to think logically through a problem
Must have the initiative tenacity and commitment to see problems through to resolution
Able to respond to and resolve client queries and requests in a timely manner
Works well in a team An ability to work well under pressure
A flexible approach Ability to work shift patterns and provide out of hours on call support
Ability to provide clear and concise documentation
Experience on IBM XIV IBM V7000 IBM V7000 Flash series EMC ISILON Brocade FCIP routers HP Nimble Storage insight to monitor storage performance
Knowledge of Database VMware AIX from Storage point of view
