As the Platform and software Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving business development, thought leadership, and project delivery in the platform and software domain. You will be responsible for understanding industry trends, building relationships with clients, and guiding projects to successful outcomes. As one of the first hires in the Media and Tech industry team, you will have the unique opportunity to take part in the structuration and the growth of the team.

Job description

1. Subject Matter Expertise: Possess deep knowledge and understanding of the platform and software industry, including its technologies, trends, and market dynamics. Serve as a go-to resource for both internal teams and clients seeking insights and solutions in the platform and software domain.
2. Business Development: Identify and pursue business opportunities within the software and platform industry, targeting companies such as Amazon, Meta, Alphabet, unicorns, SAP, Salesforce, and others. Collaborate with sales and business development teams to craft compelling proposals, pitches, and presentations that resonate with potential clients.
3. Thought Leadership: Lead efforts to establish Capgemini Invent as a thought leader in the platform and software field. Contribute to whitepapers, industry reports, webinars, and speaking engagements to showcase expertise and drive visibility.
4. Client Engagement: Develop and nurture strong client relationships, understanding their needs, challenges, and goals. Provide strategic guidance to clients, translating technical concepts into business solutions that deliver value. Proactively identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell services.
5. Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure the successful delivery of platform and software-related projects. Provide technical oversight, guidance, and support to project teams, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and meet client expectations.

Primary Skills

• Extensive experience (8+ years) in the software and platform industry, in a top consulting firm or a fast growing tech company, with a strong understanding of leading companies and technologies in the space
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Leadership qualities that inspire and guide project teams to achieve desired outcomes.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities in the platform and software sector
