What you’ll do?
- Test Automation Development:
Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts for both UI and API testing using modern tools and technologies. - Test Execution:
Execute manual and automated test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality assurance of the software. - Quality Advocacy:
Serve as an advocate for quality within the team, ensuring best practices are followed in software development and testing processes. - Collaboration:
Work closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and contribute to feature development. - Bug Identification and Reporting:
Identify, document, and track defects. Work with development teams to ensure timely resolution and regression testing. - Performance and Load Testing:
Conduct performance and load testing to ensure the software meets required performance standards. - Test Documentation:
Create and maintain clear, comprehensive, and well-organized test plans, test cases, and test reports. - Continuous Improvement:
Participate in retrospectives and contribute to process improvements to enhance the overall testing efficiency and quality of the product.
What you’ll bring:
- Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). - Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
Experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI, etc.).
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Travis CI, etc.).
Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling).
Experience:
2+ years of hands-on experience in software testing, with at least 1 year focused on automation.
Proven experience in developing and executing test scripts for complex software systems.
Testing Expertise:
Solid understanding of both manual and automated testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Version Control & Collaboration Tools:
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, or others.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Strong analytical and debugging skills with a keen attention to detail.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
