YOUR ROLE

·       Design and release of wire harness components including plastic shields, metal brackets and grommets to meet routing and retention requirements.

·       Design and modification of 3D models in CATIA

·       Design 2D engineering and manufacturing drawings per EDS guidelines

·       Cost and quality tracking

·       Suppliers management for product/process qualification (PPAP agreement)

·       Design for manufacturing following DFMEA, boundary diagram, clash avoidance and design rules

·       Generate part numbers, create RFQs

·       Manage tooling manufacturing with suppliers to meet requirements

YOUR PROFILE

·       Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics engineering or equivalent

·       4-6 years of relevant experience

·       Experience in 3D and 2D design with CATIA v5 and 6

·       Experience in communicating with technical stakeholders to collect and clarify requirements

·       Experience with PPAP managing suppliers for automotive products delivery

·       Experience with DFMEA

·       Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

·       Experience in plastic and metal parts design

·       Experience with PLM SW such as Teamcenter

·       Experience with wire harness parts

·       Experience with automotive 3D and 2D design guidelines
