What you’ll do?

• Design, develop, test, and deploy data processing solutions using the Ab Initio platform.
• Develop and maintain complex and efficient data flow graphs in Ab Initio, using components such as Conductors, Graph Processors, and other relevant components.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
• Develop Unix scripts to automate tasks related to data processing and administration of the Ab Initio environment.
• Use PySpark for distributed processing of large data sets, including data transformation, aggregation, and filtering.
• Optimize performance of Ab Initio and PySpark data pipelines to ensure efficiency and scalability.
• Implement and maintain technical documentation for data pipelines.
• Collaborate with other development team members, data analysts, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in troubleshooting and debugging data pipelines.
• Stay up to date with the latest Ab Initio, Unix, and PySpark releases and best practices.
• Maintain and support existing Ab Initio systems.

What you’ll bring:

• The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Ab Initio platform, experience developing complex data pipelines, and skills in Unix scripting and programming with PySpark for large-scale data processing.
• English level HIGH
• 5 years of experience developing data processing solutions with Ab Initio.
• Solid experience developing complex data pipelines in Ab Initio, including experience with different components and functionalities.
• Unix scripting experience (bash, shell scripting).
• Programming experience with PySpark for large-scale data processing.
• Knowledge of relational databases (SQL, Oracle, etc.).
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• (Desirable) Experience with version control tools (Git).
• (Desirable) Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• (Desirable) Knowledge of Ab Initio monitoring tools.
• (Desirable) Experience with integrating Ab Initio with other big data tools.
