YOUR ROLE

  • Manages the development of the Applications Matrix including all interface requirements for given programs including all variants and various vehicle platforms
  • Coordinates packaging studies with each vehicle application to ensure all clearance requirements are met.
  •  Leads advanced vehicle adaptation designs studies and freezes
  • Updates and coordinates approvals of International Product Spec releases
  • Updates and coordinates approvals of owner's manuals
  • Updates and coordinates approvals of Compliance Reports
  • Negotiates requirements with vehicle platforms based on product limitations and capabilities
  • Owns the Transmission Technical Specifications (TTS) and communicates application specific requirements to the team (i.e. max torque, NVH, FE, tire size, FDR selection, mass, etc)
  • Defines and tracks adherence to robust vehicle level and system level/sub-system Functional Objectives
  • Coordinates external design changes that require approval. Perform Trade Off Study as required.
  • Develops, manages & communicates external issues and change management.
  • Responsible for the review and approval of the Application Checklist for each CN or PLM/ECR
  • Coordination of application specific designs (torque converter, dampers, vents, wire connections, bracket attachments, trans oil cooling, PIM and e- motor integration, etc) including controls & calibration strategies

 

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • *Internal Combustion Engine / Electric Motor / Power Electronics accessories’ components/structural components such as brackets.
  • *Electronic modules support brackets.
  • *Internal and surrounding components from Internal Combustion Engine
  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive, Electro-mechanical, etc.).
  • *Previous experience: Preferable 5 years or more in automotive industry as Product Engineer or product development-related position.
  • *Solid knowledge in automotive vehicles and systems, assembly and manufacturing, part validation and automotive systems.
  • *Knowledge in Internal Combustion Engines, thermodynamics and statistics; testing, validation and failure solving in Automotive Industry or similar.
  • *Good skills to communicate and present ideas, as well as experience in basic software suits (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Minitab, etc.)
  • *Computer-design software skill in NX and/or CATIA.
