YOUR ROLE

• EDM Gearbox hardware system responsible (integration and system balancing of all EDM gearbox components).
• Schedules hardware system design reviews across PRC and reviews DRE design proposals as required.
• Organize reviews with Virtual Analysis/CAE team and ensure Virtual DVP/Scorecard is completed prior to any prototype hardware orders.
• Manage Driveline Systems and Interface DFMEA/DRBFM reviews to ensure complete transparency and development of cohesive Design Controls leading to Robust DVP Actions.
• Supports to develop FTE and ER&D/ED&D Cost Roll-ups for Minor/MCA/New Program.
• Review and approve all change notices ensuring checklist, LL, and E-BPs are updated and aligned.
• Represents CE in managing the “lessons learned” document for the program and ensure that Technical Specialist receive those updates on timely manner to update the E-BPs accordingly.
• Reviews Driveline system and applicable component “Validation Completion” status with DVC team periodically & provides updates.

YOUR PROFILE

• 4 years of experience automotive engineering.
• General knowledge of EDM Gearboxes, Drivelines, Axles or Transmission Systems and interface requirements.
• Ability to manage high volume of part/system complexity.
• Knowledge of powertrain product development processes.
• Knowledge in application of Functional Block Diagrams, Design Failure mode Effects Analyst (DFMEA) and Design Validation Plan and Report (DVP&R).
• Excellent written and oral communications skills, including presenting complex material to various audiences.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Proficient in English.
