Linux System Engineer - Hybrid in CDMX

About the role:

You will participate in ambitious projects with a Top Client in the Retail Industry supporting applications that run on Linux Servers.

Main Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Linux systems administration and development.
  • Strong understanding of Linux system internals, kernel, and device drivers (Commands, Linux Servers/Systems management and maintenance including Kernel Modules, Device Drivers, Configurations, Performance Tuning and Troubleshooting).
  • Experience with configuration management tools managing large-scale Linux environments (Terraform, Ansible, Chef or equivalent)
  • Solid networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, and routing.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies like KVM and VMware.
  • Recognize and respond promptly to security incidents (hacking attempts, equipment and development processes)
  • Experience in root cause analysis and document findings.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced English communication.
