DevOps Evangelist - Remote inside México

About the role:

You will be responsible for spreading awareness, building a vibrant community, assisting client engineers and teams with their technical and product understanding and implementation questions, and advocating for best practices in continuous integration and continuous delivery for a top Client in the Medical Industry.

Main Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Able to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams spreading awareness of the DevOps philosophy, advantages, best practices, CI/CD and implementation, building a community, providing suitable technical solutions, guidance, support and troubleshooting.
  • 6+ yoe with DevOps, DevSecOps, CI/CD tools, and cloud-native technologies.
  • Hands-on Technical Engagements, you will be expected and be technical enough to engage in hands-on troubleshooting, mentoring, and showing how to use best practices of the service to solve client problems.
  • Strong understanding and experience with tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub and GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, GitOps and declarative operations, and similar platforms.
  • Thought Leadership: Stay up to date on the latest trends and innovations in CI/CD, DevSecOps, and software delivery. Publish thought leadership content to position our team as a leader in the space.
  • Participate in Community Engagement: Build and nurture a community of developers, DevOps engineers, and platform users. Actively participate in forums, GitLab discussions, and internal social media platform to support users and promote our platform.
  • Content Creation: Develop training and best practices content such as blogs, videos, webinars, tutorials, and case studies. Create technical documentation, best practice guides, and whitepapers to help users maximize their use of the platform.
  • Public Speaking: Deliver compelling presentations, demos, and workshops to showcase our Source Code platform’s capabilities and value.
  • Advocacy: Act as the voice of the user by bringing feedback from the community to internal teams. Collaborate with the product team to influence the roadmap based on user needs and market trends. Comfortable engaging with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Partner Engagement: Work with strategic clients and partners, opensource projects, and vendor representatives to drive integration and communication opportunities.
  • Fluent English Communication (C1 or higher)
