About the role:

You will participate in ambitious projects with a Top Client in the Retail Industry supporting applications that run on Linux Servers.

Main Requirements:

• Bachelor´s Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent
• Expertise in Linux (client/server) components in enterprise network environments (management of hundreds of Linux Servers)
• Able to install, deploy, automate, monitor and optimize performance of applications on Linux platforms.
• Strong experience in Managed Transfer File (preferably GoAnywere or equivalent tools)
• Strong experience in Disaster Recovery and mechanisms for mission critical applications.
• Strong experience in Capacity planning and management
• In-depth technical understanding of system infrastructure equipment such as servers and storage systems, software including server operating systems, server virtualization platforms, monitoring and disaster recovery tools
• Experience with Tomcat installation & administration, Apache webservers, load balancers, DNS setup and configuration and automation of these activities
• Experience in AWS (EC2)
• Experience in Automation tools (Chef, Terraform or equivalent)
• Advanced English Communication
• Willingness to work from 6 am to 3 pm somedays per month
