WHO?
VORTEX-CoLab is looking for a driven Junior Financial Manager for national and international projects giving support to the Operations Unit, implementing and monitoring the projects financial KPIs, complying with the Vortex values and objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or similar;
- 1-3 years of experience in financial management of projects associated with National and/or European Funding Programs (e.g., PRR, PT2030, Horizon Europe);
- Knowledge of the financial operation and regulations of National and European Funding Programs;
- Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Flexible and able to learn quickly in a dynamic and fast-paces environment;
- Experience with management tools (e.g. MS Office)
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
WHAT?
As a Junior Financial Manager for national and international projects at VORTEX-CoLab you will work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of researchers, engineers, designers and product managers supporting initiatives that will define the next generation of embedded and real-time systems that are highly connected, with massive processing power and performing complex applications.
How you can expect to fill your days:
- Monitor and control the financial execution of projects within the scope of National and European Funding Programs;
- Prepare and submit payment requests to funding entities;
- Support the development of internal Financial Control procedures for projects;
- Assess the financial feasibility of projects;
- Assist in preparing applications for incentives within National and European Funding Programs;
- Liaise with funding entities.
