Your Mission

We are looking for motivated Engineers with experience in Structural & FEA, to strengthen our teams, in the energy sector.

Your main activities:

Join a team responsible for the design of a wind turbine component. You will be an innovator on the development of new calculation methods, generating the most creative solutions to meet design situations and fulfill the product and technology road maps.

• Perform FE simulations and assist in the development/optimization of designs methods and processes.
• Support project scope definition, resources planning and technical risk mitigation in collaboration with the cross-functional project stakeholders to ensure progress in the projects.
• Analyze complex data by combining large data sets.
• Perform object-oriented and scripted programming to analyze big data and complex FE problems.
• Contribute to the product development milestone reviews.
• Provide feedback and challenge design solutions to interfacing systems to optimize final product design.
• Understanding and specifying structural requirements.
• Conduct finite element analysis to ensure requirements.
• Design and optimize product performance and reliability with simulation.
• Build models and carry out analysis according to specifications.
• Development of innovative structural solutions to improve the component performance, reliability, and cost.

Your Profile:

• BSc/MSc/Ph.D. within Mechanical or Aerospace engineering or similar.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in structural design in the context of steel structures.
• Experience in Structural analyses using FE tools.
• Skilled in using Tools, such as: Ansys WorkBench, Ansys Parametric Design Language (APDL).
• Experience in FEA (Finite Element Analysis);.
• Experience in Stress Engineering (is a plus)
• Profound knowledge of buckling, fatigue, welded and bolted connections
• Experience in diligently loaded structures design
• Technical leadership & Project management skills are preferred
• Ability to work on multinational environment.
• Availability to travel occasionally to different factories in different countries.
• Good English Skills.
