Title: BI Technologist with Cognos (10172658_977119)
Location : IL / NJ / NYC (presently WFH relocation required post-pandemic)
Employment Terms: Fulltime with benefits


Job Responsibilities

  • Strong experience in various statistical and machine learning algorithms like ensemble techniques boosting neural networks etc 
  • Strong experience in data mining NLP predictive and prescriptive analytics approaches 
  • Strong coding skills in Python or R 
  • Experience working with large datasets Identify analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets 
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills 
  • Ability to translate business objectives into actionable analyses 
  • Familiarity with data visualization libraries in Python R 
  • Familiarity with automated ML tools like DataRobot DSx h2O is desirable 
  • Experience working in a Unix Linux environment Work with Data Architecture to perform source system analysis identification of key data issues data profiling and develop reports dashboards scorecards in Cognos Query Studio Analysis Studio and Framework Manager 

Daily Activity 

  • A team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Comfortable coordinating with peer teams to understand use cases and should be able to articulate the findings clearly to both technical and non technical audiences 
  • Data wrangling feature engineering apply statistical ML techniques to analyze data 
  • Leverage auto ML tools for model building 
  • Experience in a Unix Linux environment for automating processes with shell scripting
