Sr. UX Researcher

Title: Sr. UX Researcher
Location: Rutherford, NJ
Job Description:

Required Skills:

  • Lead the design of user centered experiences for web and mobile applications from concept to delivery ensuring designs align with user needs business goals and brand guidelines
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including product managers developers and other designers to ensure designs are feasible and implementable
  • Conduct user research and create user personas user stories and user flows to inform the design process
  • Create wireframes prototypes and high fidelity designs and oversee the work of other designers to ensure consistency and quality across designs
  • Conduct usability testing and user feedback sessions to iterate on designs and continuously improve the user experience
  • Advocate for the user and ensure that designs prioritize accessibility inclusivity and usability Establish design guidelines design systems and design patterns to ensure consistency across products and projects
  • Mentor and guide other designers providing feedback and guidance on design best practices and methodologies
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies and identify opportunities to innovate and improve the user experience
  • Bachelors or Master s degree in design human computer interaction or a related field 7 years of experience in UX design with a strong portfolio showcasing design process problem solving skills and impact on the user experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead design projects and manage a team of designers while maintaining a focus on user needs and business goals
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma Sketch or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with experience working with cross functional teams
  • Understanding of design systems design patterns and responsive design principles
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment Knowledge of HTML CSS and JavaScript is a plus
