Delivery Manager

Responsibilities: 

  • The Senior Release Train Engineer is a leader and coach for the Agile Release Train ART responsible for driving end to end delivery of value in a Lean Agile framework.
  • The RTE facilitates ART events ensures cross team coordination and supports the teams in delivering high quality solutions to our customers.
  • The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile and Lean practices strong communication skills and experience in facilitating large group meetings.
  • Facilitate the ART events and processes assisting the teams in delivering value and coordinating cross team activities
  • Communicate with stakeholders report ART status and escalate impediments to ensure the ART s success
  • Support the Product Manager and Product Owners in refining the program backlog and preparing for PI Program Increment planning 
  • Guide teams in adopting and improving Agile and Lean practices including Scrum Kanban and SAFe principles 
  • Work with other RTEs to increase the effectiveness of SAFe across the organization
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to teams and Scrum Masters fostering an environment of continuous improvement 
  • Assist in managing risks and dependencies ensuring alignment with the overall company strategy 
  • Drive relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops and constant evaluation of ART metrics and performance 

Required Skills: 

  • Certified SAFe Release Train Engineer with a proven track record in a similar role 
  • Good experience and background in Data Projects especially Legacy Modernization Programs
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with an emphasis on SAFe principles
  • Exceptional facilitation and communication skills capable of leading and influencing cross functional teams 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex cross team coordination tasks 
  • Leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a fast paced changing environment 

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced certifications in Agile methodologies e g SAFe Program Consultant SPC Certified Scrum Professional CSP 
  • Experience in Lean Agile transformation at scale in large organizations 
  • Technical background in software development or systems engineering
