Senior Software Engineer - Power BI

Location - Durham, NC (hybrid)

Duration - Fulltime

Key Responsibilities

• Proficiency in end-to-end reporting indicates your ability to oversee the entire reporting process, from data acquisition to visualization
• Enables you to perform complex calculations and analysis, especially when dealing with time-based data.
• Maintaining compliance and protecting sensitive information.
• Identifying redundant or outdated components and migrating them to more efficient solutions, such as Power BI

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Power BI Development experience with cloud and on-premises data sources.
• Power BI Service experience is required to set up permissions, creating apps, applying labels and other security settings
• Hands on experience with writing complex DAX queries and M-Query
• Experience with data modeling and design is must
• Experience with report migration to Power BI is a plus
• Knowledge on Power BI Report embedding into web application for external users
• Experience with snowflake development and some of the admin stuff is a plus
• Certification in Power BI is a plus
