.NET Core & AWS Developer

Job Title: .Net & AWS Developer 
Location: Charlotte NC
 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, tune, and implement n-tiered web-based applications.
  • Design conceptual, logical, and physical database models.
  • Collaborate with Development teams, Enterprise Architecture, and Support teams to design, develop, test, and maintain various platforms and their integration with other systems.
  • Assess opportunities for application and process improvements and prepare documentation outlining the platform roadmap.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing systems.
  • Work collaboratively with QA and DevOps teams to adopt CI/CD toolchain and develop automation.
  • Communicate with technical and non-technical groups on a regular basis as part of product/project support.
  • Design and develop core services and components with expertise in service-oriented architecture, design patterns, and coding best practices.

Technical Qualifications:

  • Senior Developer with 6+ years of experience in designing and implementing complex systems, including developing solutions from scratch.
  • Experience in architecting systems involving API and message broker integrations.
  • Excellent understanding of SOA principles and design patterns.
  • Proficiency in writing SQL server procedures, views, functions, and design skills.
  • Strong system integration skills.
  • Proven track record of implementing distributed and disconnected systems with legacy and modern technical tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of pub/sub messaging technologies and patterns.
  • Expertise in caching and exception handling.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of any cloud platform, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Effective planning, prioritizing, and executing tasks utilizing resources and tools.
  • Experience working with C#, .NET, .NET Core.
  • Experience working with Web API.
  • (Good to have) Trading knowledge.
  • Extensive working experience with SQL server databases.
  • Experience working with container systems like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Exposure to source control tools like TFS and GIT.
  • Exposure to DevOps tools like TeamCity, Octopus, or Jenkins.
