Murex Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Murex Developer with expertise in MXML to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Murex platform and possess hands-on experience in MXML development. As a Murex Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining solutions within the Murex environment, particularly focusing on MXML customization and configuration.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.
• Design and develop Murex solutions utilizing MXML, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
• Customize and configure the Murex platform to meet specific client needs.
• Integrate Murex with external systems and data sources as required.
• Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of Murex solutions to ensure quality and reliability.
• Provide technical support and assistance to end-users and other team members.
• Stay up-to-date with Murex platform updates, new features, and industry trends.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
• Document technical specifications, designs, and implementation details.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Murex Developer with a focus on MXML development.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, products, and instruments.
• Proficiency in Murex configuration, workflows, and data model.
• Extensive experience with Murex API and integration technologies.
• Solid programming skills in Java, Python, or similar languages.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Murex certification(s) is a plus.
