Data Migration Manager

Responsibilities:

• Establishing understanding of source and target database structures & schemas
• Develop & maintain data base strategy to ensure data is migrated accurately, securely
• Business scenario mapping and handling for the cutover
• Ensure all user data is migrated from old system to new system based on different business cut over scenarios.
• Lead the Go-Live activities to deploy the software successful.
• Develop and execute the migration strategy, plan, and schedule, and for managing the quality and risks.
• Work closely with development teams of source and target systems to establish understanding of existing data base structures.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of different database system
• 7/8 – 10 Year work experience
• Has hands on and in past has driven migration projects (As team member, team lead- regardless of database – Oracle, My SQL).
• Has worked in past relational databases, driven migration between two different applications and two different relational database structures.
• Understands the challenges on migration and was involved in creating migration templates in past, drafted migration strategy and managed a team. E
• Experience in migrating On premise to AWS cloud infra shall be plus.
