AIE / ASE Lead

Capgemini Asia Accelerated Solutions Environment: Venture Leader and Lead Facilitator

What are we looking for?

A proven Venture Leader with Lead Facilitator experience.

  • Venture Leader: Proven experience of setting-up and successfully running an ASE venture. Responsible for selling internally and externally; collaborating with senior leadership to shape and change the offering; P&L management.
  • Lead Facilitator: The front-of-room person who facilitates the processes of groups up to 200 participants, works with Sponsor teams (client and Capgemini executives) to plan sessions, analyse and synthesise information presented by the participants and gets the group to the outcomes they need. The facilitator works to understand the client issues and to develop and execute the design of the event. Typical sponsors are at the VP or CXO level. The person will also actively manage and grow the venture in SEA.

What is the ASE?

The ASE is a creative work space combined with a unique methodology to accelerate business decision-making and the creation and implementation of innovative solutions. We bring together a diverse set of participants in a flexible and adaptive environment supported by enabling technologies and innovative knowledge management for a facilitation process that drives them to decisions and action on complex issues. Successful results depend on an iterative process that moves an organisation through various levels of strategy, conceptual design, solution build and operation. The group emerges with a plan in action, not just a plan to plan. The ASE process can profoundly reduce time spent “socialising the solution,” building a broad alignment across the organisation on the conclusions reached, and creating communications channels where none had previously existed.

What are the requirements?

A proven leader with at least 5 years senior ASE (or equivalent MGT “DesignShop”) experience, who demonstrates consultative skills to interact with clients, exceptional presentation skills, excellent executive presence, willingness to learn and apply radically different models of facilitation, well read on a wide variety of subjects.

As a Lead Facilitator, the person:

  • Designs and facilitates complex Asia-wide and global engagements, executed in 1-3 day sessions, using multiple collaboration and acceleration tools
  • Creates and maintains strong relationships internally and externally, resulting in repeat business
  • Creates a series of events for single clients into a managed account
  • Defines and successfully launches new ASE offerings into the field, impacting Capgemini‘s win rate and profitability of engagements
  • Is a people manager for 3-5 people

As the Venture Leader, the person:

  • Significantly grows the venture, taking the ASE to the “next level“
  • Creates and is accountable for the venture KPIs
  • Works with Capgemini leadership to understand, confirm, and prioritise the needs of the business as it relates to the ASE
  • Ensures effective marketing efforts for the venture, leading to increased visibility and ultimately growth
  • Takes a significant leadership role in the people process (recruiting, hiring, creating subcontractor delivery models), resulting in a high performing team
  • Oversees the healthy growth of the knowledgeworker network

Why should you be interested?

  • The topics we address are mission-critical for our clients
  • The ASE is a major tool to get access to or strengthen the relationship with top management and the facilitator plays a key role
  • The culture of the ASE team is high energy, dynamic, and fun!
